Playing when, since it's dark, it's very likely everybody should be sleeping! Maybe I feel that thrill just a little bit too much. I'm still secretely waiting for the neighborhood police to write us some kind of ticket, like "Playing after dark in a really nice playground in a neighborhood you aren't a part of." The first day I wasn't too morning sick or dizzy when I was pregnant with C&D, I drove my car through this neighborhood and got pulled over for having an expired registration sticker. Of course I hadn't noticed it, since I hadn't really driven the car for weeks and weeks. I had to sit in a tiny courthouse where a police guy yelled at us, and then I had to feel dorky in front of a (very nice) judge. So I guess I'm kind of afraid I'll be plucked out again, and find myself in some sort of trouble. Maybe I need to start living a little more dangerously and get over it.
