The point of this post isn’t to brag, or to make an attempt at pretty pictures (any beauty you see is inherent in the pictures, and not the picture-taking, which happened with one eye in the viewfinder and one eye on Carmen and David, always too close to the street). It’s to remember that after we ripped out a whole bunch of that fig ivy and Bermuda out, threw down a bunch of seeds, and tucked in a few plants here and there, we got a real prairie-looking something out front, full of bees and birds and butterflies and dragonflies.
Cool.
The next part in finishing this post is figuring out what everything is, and trying to remember what bloomed earlier in the year. Time to get my Native American Seed catalog back out.
